Viagra and Nitrates – A Deadly combination
It is quite common and also widely accepted nowadays that men who are being treated for a wide variety of types of heart disease are quite often several times more likely to experience moderate or complete incidences of impotence, compared with other men their age.
What was once supposition and hearsay is now a widely accepted fact. The trouble with all of this and this is a side effect of the now widely available boom of Pharmaceutical products and medications available via the Internet, is that without proper care and attention in an attempt to compensate for their condition by the use of “off the shelf” pharmaceutical products, a lot of men are now putting themselves considerably at risk.
Impotence can be devastating for hitherto healthy men and it is not unnatural for men to try and do something about it but the wrong type of treatment can be a killer.
Many people with heart disease quite often lead sedentary lives, and sexual activity can precipitate attacks of angina. Sex understandably places substantial demands on our cardiovascular systems; this is a widely accepted fact. Our pulse races and therefore our blood pressures rise. Men who have not been sexually active for a long time and then take Viagra to compensate for this may develop angina and seek emergency medical treatment.
The big problem with all of this is that the very same men may well be taking nitrate medicine for associate conditions such as Angina. Nitrates lower the blood pressure and so does Viagra and the two together just exacerbate these problems…..not wise, don’t mix the two
